She developed a passion for Eastern Medicine approaches to wellness, as she experienced the most personal healing success with Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. This experience was so fascinating to her that she immersed herself in research, and eventually, it changed her life. A year after she began attending the Pacific College of Health and Science in New York with an awesome life purpose beyond her career.

A few years later, she moved and graduated to San Diego, where she fell in love with and now calls home. She loves how this path has allowed her to affect people’s lives. Most of her patients get to know Eastern Medicine as their last resort, and it makes her very happy when their lives are changed by ongoing wellness.

She’s structured her practice to spend as much time as needed to listen and thoroughly discuss her patients’ whole bodies. Dr. Rana’s passion is empowering people with their healing journey. She believes we need to be seen as a whole with everything connected. And fortunately, this is the philosophy of care in Eastern Medicine. Aside from acupuncture and herbs, she tries to combine different other modalities based on her patient's individual needs and gives as many other alternative suggestions as needed to help their specific condition.

Dr. Rana’s other specialties are Mental disorders, Pain management, Integrative Oncology, Internal Medicine, Cosmetic Acupuncture and Facial Rejuvenation. She has hands-on clinical experience at the Pacific College of Health and Science, New York and San Diego Clinics. She has treated patients at UCSD Cancer Center, Rady Children’s Hospital, low-income centers in Pacific Beach, Senior Clinic at First Lutheran Church, University of California’s RIMAC Sports Medicine Facility, Veterans Clinic, Alliance Medical Group, and many more clinics in San Diego.

She spends most of her time on research, and she continues observing well-known physicians to bring a bond between Western and Eastern Medicine. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, trying new cuisines, playing soccer, exploring new hobbies while spending time with her friends and family, travelling to new places and watching the beautiful night sky!
